Welcome to Lightpoint Church

Pastors Phil & Tracy Shand moved from the east side of Melbourne to start Lightpoint Church in Point Cook in April 2011. Since that time the church has steadily grown and has met in a number of different venues. Today over 500 people call Lightpoint Church home attending our Sunday 10am service at Emmanuel College Point Cook.

Our weekly service caters for people of all ages and a free kids program is provided for children aged 2-12. Each 90 minute service begins with a time of worship with live music, communication of biblical truths through inspirational teaching, life stories and multimedia.

Throughout the week, we run various activities such as connect groups for Bible discussion & prayer, Ablaze Youth for teenagers Friday nights 7pm, Aspire for young adults, men's & women's events and community seminars.

It is Phil & Tracy's desire for Lightpoint Church to be a place where all feel welcomed, wherever they are on their spiritual journey. Lightpoint Church exists to reach people far from God, raise generational disciples and release everyone into their God-given purpose.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 (ESV)

It is our desire for every person who walks through the doors of Lightpoint Church will feel welcomed and at home, regardless of their spiritual or cultural background. We hope and pray that you will encounter God's presence at each Sunday service.
